The Gondo Marathon 2024 will take place as usual on the first weekend in August. The registration portal will open on 1 December. We look forward to your participation!

Until 30 July
The start numbers will be printed on Monday, 31 July. From then on the entry fee for the double marathon and the relay is CHF 20.- higher, for the marathon plus CHF 10.-. Late registrations are possible until one hour before the start.

For the 20th anniversary
On Saturday, as always, the start will be in Gondo, but for once the finish will not be in Ried-Brig but in the centre of Brig. For the anniversary, the runners will run through the Stockalperhof after crossing the Saltina Gorge and will be welcomed in the town square of Brig.

News for the anniversary
The Gondo Marathon celebrates its 20th edition this year. For the anniversary, the finish line will be moved to the town square in Brig on Saturday. In addition, a relay race will be offered, in which the team members themselves decide how to split the distance.

We offer a varied route in the unique mountain landscape between Ried-Brig and Gondo on the Simplon Pass in Valais. The routes can be found on Outdoor-Activ, where they can be downloaded as GPX and as KML files.

One of our most loyal runners is Thomas Keller. Every year, when he participates in the Gondo Marathon, there is a nice running report from him afterwards. The last report from the Gondo Marathon over two days was in 2018 (after that came Corona).
Action for running clubs, running groups, running clubs, etc.
If five runners from the same association, club, etc. start, one entry fee is free. If there is a group of ten, we will give away two entry fees. Simply register all runners normally and get one entry fee back at the race office!

Brig is on the international Hamburg-Basel-Milan railway line. From here it's on to Gondo by bus (free ticket at the secretariat). Extra bus from Brig to the start on Saturday morning. Click here for the timetable
